The project is located in Sechura, the desert of the Piura region in northern Peru. Bayovar was executed 35 years after the discovery of this important phosphate deposit in our country and it is one of the largest phosphate deposits in South America. It produces 3.9 million tons of phosphates per year. It involved more than 3,000 employees who, thanks to their experience and commitment to the project, delivered a successful project. During the execution of the project, the client highlighted the compliance, safety, quality and efficiency shown by GyM, achieving their satisfaction and recognition. The mine began to commercialize material in March 2011.
